Trail Overview

Perfect for people with limited time; it offers you a chance to see “Big Five”. Astonishing views of the Rift Valley, The mighty Ngorongoro crater, spending a day with elephants of Tarangire and travel back in time and immerse yourself into Hadzabe’s (Bushmen) primitive mode of living; hunting and gathering. Seeing the “Big Five” are among the rewards to expect in this adventure.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

• Early morning departure from Arusha or Moshi to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees
• Game drive in the park with a picnic lunch
• Afternoon game drive
• Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite near the park

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

• Morning departure to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos
• Game drive in the park with a picnic lunch
• Afternoon game drive
• Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite near the park

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

• Depart after breakfast to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site
• Descend into the crater for a game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino) and many other species such as zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and more
• Picnic lunch in the crater
• Afternoon game drive
• Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite near the crater

Day 4: Lake Eyasi

• Early morning departure to Lake Eyasi, where you’ll visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. You’ll learn about their way of life, go hunting with them, and experience their unique language and culture
• Picnic lunch at Lake Eyasi
• Afternoon departure back to Arusha or Moshi, with a stop at a local market or souvenir shop on the way back
